If you are a current patient with us, you can request a dry needling session by calling.

One of the most popular services we offer is Dry Needling, a technique that involves the insertion of a small, thin needle into a trigger point to alleviate pain and discomfort. Dry Needling can be used to treat a variety of conditions, including back pain, headaches, neck pain, tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, and many others. By targeting the trigger points, we can stimulate the release of natural pain-relieving chemicals in the body and promote healing and tissue repair. Benefits include:

What To Expect:
No need to be nervous, here are a few things you can expect. Dry needling should not be painful. The process involves using thin, filamentous needles that are inserted into the muscles to alleviate tension and pain.
Once the needle is inserted, you may feel a twitching sensation. This is normal and indicates the needle has reached the correct trigger point in the muscle. Your therapist may manipulate the needles slightly to achieve the desired results. A typical dry needling session can last from 20-40 minutes depending on your needs.
It is common to feel some muscle soreness or possibly mild bruising afterwards, but this should dissipate within a few days. If you have any questions or concerns about the process, don't hesitate to ask questions.
